Pink-Haired Harajuku Guy in Vintage Street Fashion, Raf Simons & Faith Tokyo

Yuuta works at the popular Harajuku resale shop Kinji Harajuku. He is a regular feature on our snaps, with his last one back in March.

Pink-haired Yuuta’s look today features vintage wide leg pants, a black shirt from Faith under a striped outer button down shirt, and runners from Raf Simons. A vintage smiley face sling bag and accessories from Faith Tokyo such as a cross pendant necklace, silver hoop earrings, and a pair of white framed sunglasses complete his street style look.

Mami+ is an art student we met in Harajuku. Her chic lingerie as outerwear fashion style definitely caught our attention. Let’s take a closer look at what she’s wearing:

Mami+’s outfit features a grey ruffle collar top under a black lace camisole from E Hyphen World Gallery BonBon and the vintage boutique Faith Tokyo, white pants with layered lace hem from Mamelle, and a silk lavender kimono robe from Lochie. Her platform shoes are also from E Hyphen World Gallery BonBon. Her accessories – from Marte, Grimoire Tokyo and Little Jesus – include heart earrings, a cross and pendant necklace, and a heart ring.

Mika is a friendly Japanese kuro gyaru we met on the street in Harajuku.

Mika is wearing a top by the Japanese gyaru brand D.I.A. with DIA short shorts, a DIA belt, and Flag-J platform heels. Accessories – including her leather shoulder bag and silver cross necklace – are also from DIA.

In Harajuku, we came across Hanano, an 18-year-old Japanese student who caught our eye with her chic plaid dress. Let’s take a closer look:

Hanano is wearing a red plaid dress with a black leather belt, net knee-high socks, platform bow shoes, a leather sling bag, and accessories such as a gold chain and pendant cross necklace, and a single gold ring.

While walking on the streets of Harajuku, we met this trio of girls sporting colorful street style ensembles. From left to right, they are Miyuka, Marina, and Marin. They are all 18-year-old students. Let’s take a look at their ensembles:

Miyuka is wearing an all black ensemble consisting of a Dolls Kill cropped see through sweatshirt over a Playboy cropped top, a leather skirt from Forever21, fishnet socks, platform boots from UNIF, and a Vidakush belt chain bag. Her accessories – from Vidakush – include oversized eyeglasses, lip piercings, and a cross choker necklace. Rizna is a 20-year-old student – and Fanatic Tokyo publisher – who we often see and feature on our Tokyo street snaps.

Today, Rizna’s outfit consists of a Kinji cropped denim jacket, a Petit Cochon cropped knit sweater over a vintage printed dress, purple tall socks under Club Lovage white loose socks (or leg warmers), Fig & Viper platform shoes, and a printed sling bag from an Asian shop. Her accessories – some from Pinnap – include colorful bead earrings, a pendant necklace, a green belt, and flower rings.

We often see S.you – designer of the Japanese streetwear brand The Symbolic Tokyo – on the street in Harajuku.

We came across a trio of guys who are regularly featured on our Harajuku street snaps. They are 19-year-old Daiki (right), Cheney (left), and 23-year-old Yuuta (aka Jimmy, in the middle).

Blonde-haired Daiki is wearing a red vest over a grey Stussy t-shirt, Dickies pants, Nike sneakers, and a Y-3 drawstring bag. His accessories include mismatched earrings and a silver chain. Daiki’s favorite brands are Y-3 and Kinji and he listens to all kinds of music. Follow him on Instagram.

Meet Megumi and Takumi, two students we met on the streets of Harajuku one evening. They caught our eye with their own distinct streetwear styles.

14-year-old Megumi’s look consists of a black Don Quixote bomber jacket, which she styled with a black Vetememes printed shirt and a pleated plaid skirt from WEGO. Black thigh-high socks, knee high platform lace-up boots from Open the Door, and a black sling bag from Kinji completed her outfit. She accessorized with white-framed sunglasses perched on top of a black beanie, silver hoop earrings, a silver pendant necklace, a black leather grommet belt, an o-ring and ball chain, and a leather thigh strap. At the right is 17-year-old Takumi, who is dressed in a purple bomber jacket from H&M, which he wore on top of a black vintage printed t-shirt and black pants with ruched sides and zippered hem from H&M. Harajuku Teen Street Style Squad w/ Balenciaga, Raf, Demonia & Vetements

While out on the Harajuku streets, we came across this group of teens all decked out in black streetwear styles that easily caught our eye. From left to right, they are: Ryoya, Kota, Kaya, Keisho and Ryoya.

Sporting aqua hair, Ryoya is dressed in a red Balenciaga puffer jacket, which he paired with a black Vetements t-shirt and black skinny jeans from Uniqlo. He finished off his look with Vetements x Reebok sneakers, and accessories from Chrome Hearts and Cody Sanderson such as silver sword earrings and a gold cross necklace. Vetements is Ryoya’s favorite fashion label and he likes the music of Big Bang. on Instagram.

Red-haired Kota is decked out in a black hoodie sweater from Vetements, which he wore over a zip-up turtleneck top and black cropped skinny jeans from H&M. His footwear choice is also Vetements x Reebok sneakers, which he wore with red-and-black Vetements socks. His accessories from JW Anderson include silver chain earrings, and a silver chain. At the middle is 15-year-old Kaya who is sporting an all-black look with her twin buns hairstyle. She is wearing a Forever21 faux fur jacket, which she styled with a vintage t-shirt and a long skirt. Keisho – 16-years-old with blonde hair – donned an oversized army green Rothco bomber jacket, worn over a black hoodie jacket from Balenciaga and layered with a black zip-up turtleneck top. Lastly, 17-year-old Ryoya’s outfit features a black velvet blazer from Dolce & Gabbana, which he wore over a black turtleneck sweater and skinny pants from GU. He added pink Yves Saint Laurent pointy ankle booties with silver buckles for a pop of color. He embellished his outfit with a single chain earring and a leather buckle belt, both from Dolce & Gabbana. Spotted on the Harajuku street are Ayano and Hikari, two 18-year-old Bunka Fashion College students whose striking and adventurous street styles always gets them featured on our site.

At the left is Ayano, sporting a short red bob with black bangs and dressed in a mixed-print style featuring a Kinji retro wave print orange-and-black coat dress, which she wore over a red-and-black floral print midi skirt with a ruffled hem – gifted to her by Tatsunosuke. Ayano styled her printed top and skirt with purple ribbed socks, platform leather lace-up shoes from Demonia, and a black quilted belt bag with insect embellishments from Romantic Standard. Multiple silver ear studs and ear cuffs from (ME) Harajuku were the finishing touches to her look. Ayano’s favorite fashion designer is Vivienne Westwood, and she likes the music of Kenshi Yonezu. While out on the streets of Harajuku one afternoon, we spotted Hikari, Ryo, and Koutarou, 3 teens whose stylish black streetwear styles easily caught our eye.

At the left is 20-year-old Hikari, who is dressed in a black cropped jacket, and styled with a white distressed shirt and black flared pants, all of which were sourced from American fashion label, Rick Owens. He finished off his look with black-and-white Rick Owens Drkshdw sneakers, gauged ears, a gold cross necklace, multiple silver knuckle rings, and he is carrying a grey Rick Owens tote bag. Hikari lists Rick Owens and Comme des Garcons as his favorite fashion brands, and he likes the music of Lil Peep and Sakanaction. Hikari is active on Twitter and Instagram.

Ryo – sporting a black blunt bob at the middle – is clad in a black Christian Dada turtleneck sweater featuring a center face print and contrast sleeve prints. The 19-year-old student paired his top with loose black pants with drawstring cuffs from Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme, and slipped into black socks and black leather creepers from Foot The Coacher. His accessories – some from Gucci – include ball chain earrings, a silver cuff, and silver rings. In addition, Ryo is carrying a black knot handle tote bag from Dulcamara. While on the street in Harajuku, 20-year-old Japanese male model Manaya caught our eye.

Sporting partially-shaved and slicked-back hair, Manaya is dressed in a black kangaroo pocket hoodie shirt, styled with black acid-wash jeans and layered with another pair of cut shredded jeans. Gold, pointy-toe boots, and accessories such as blue-tinted aviator sunglasses, mismatched silver chain earrings, a silver chain necklace layered with a gold cross necklace, a silver snake cuff, a gold chain bracelet, multiple knuckle rings, and a black leather belt rounded out Manaya’s ensemble.

While on the street in Harajuku, we came across blonde-haired Yuto, a 16-year-old student whose vintage ensemble easily caught our eye.

Yuto stepped out on the street dressed in a vintage red-and-orange long sleeve printed top with pom pom neckline embellishments, mint green pants, and metallic silver ankle boots from Maison Margiela. Yuto jazzed up his outfit with a rhinestone cross necklace layered with a blue beaded necklace, a silver chain bracelet, and multiple knuckle rings. In addition, Yuto is carrying a red ruffle sling bag by the Japanese fashion brand Shin.

It’s difficult to miss this trio of girls with their striking outfits while we were out and about on the Harajuku street. Let’s take a closer look at their ensembles, shall we?

At the left sporting standout pink hair is 15-year-old Mawoni. She is dressed in a black Kiss t-shirt with cuffed sleeves from DonDonDown, a mauve skirt from King Family, white ribbed socks, and black platform lace-up boots from Yosuke. Strapped across her waist is a King Family NCAA Sports waist bag, and she wore tattoo arm sleeves and a black leather harness across her chest. Mawoni finished off her look with accessories – bought in Nakano – such as silver hoop earrings and a silver cross pendant necklace. Meet Yuuta – a 23-year-old Kinji Harajuku staffer who is a familiar and popular personality on the streetwear scene and is often featured on our street snaps. Tonight he returns to the street sporting a new hairstyle – two-tone dreadlocks!

Yuuta’s sporty-casual outfit consists of a black Reebok zipper jacket with contrast white strip on each sleeve, worn over a striped round-neck shirt from Ground Zero and tucked into white Reebok track pants with blue and red side stripes. He capped off his look with Raf Simons sneakers and accessories such as silver hoop earrings, a gold cross necklace, sunglasses tucked into his pant’s waist, and as always, his trademark labret piercings.

While out on the streets of Tokyo, we came upon this trio of teens whose street style looks easily caught our attention. From left to right, they are Ayano Shimoda, Hikari and Shigeo Tsuchiya.

Sporting a two-tone pink and black fringed bob, Ayano – an 18-year-old fashion college student – is clad in a long sleeve red dress with shoulder fringes from Kinji.
